R.I.P AMY

What sad news hit the world Saturday when they found the body of British soul & jazz singer Amy Winehouse.
In the past everyone has judged Amy for choosing drugs as her form of escapism but she was an original British talent who will be missed by those who knew her.
Her death rings out like many who have died before their time, who have had a troubled past, but I do believe she had a lot more to give with her lyrical attributes and unique voice.
Those who has slated Amy in the past hopefully will see that Amy amongst other things wasn’t packaged to be perfect and to me that’s why she stood out good and bad.

Amy Winehouse has joined the 27 club where her memory lives on like Kurt Cobain, Brian Jones & Jimi Hendrix.

CHER LLOYD ...... WHO????

So just when i thought that i had seen the last of Cher Lloyd, she comes back with a record contract.
PLEASE TELL ME WHY??????

To start with she is nothing more than a cheap reproduction of Cheryl Cole with less going for her.
I hope shes not around for long because i dont know how much i will be able to take of her lip curling singing face and crotch grabbing.
I almost pmsl when i heard Lily Allen had tweeted that she liked Cher's attempt of breaking the charts with "Swagger Jagger" who is Lily Allen anyway??? She vanished from the music industry stop voicing your unwanted, unintelligent opinion.

Now lets move on to the "Swagger Jagger" song .... WTF is that all about?
Its the most ear cringing song i have heard for a very long time.
Lyrically void, Vocally Blah & is like a has been trying to reinvent themselves.

Cher do everyone a favor .... DON'T try to hard to be liked with what you think people want to hear, we dont!!!

               ALBUM REVIEW.

If your looking for gaga’like pop you will love this edgy pop album.

Its full of lyrics you’d expect to hear in The Fame with a slightly more darker edge at times.

She is said to be the English Lady Gaga ... is she? To be blunt i dont know and i hope for her sake she isnt trying to be that because it was said that Jessie J was going to be that and her album turned out to be a real disappointment to me.

My favourite songs off the album are ... Free, Mirrors, Break you hard & Superficial because these songs to me stand above the others!

Overal i would personally and this is just my taste rate the album an 8/10 which is pretty good considering i was given the album to listen to without really knowing anything about this girl.

Will she be the next big thing?

I hope she does well and produces an even better second album!
